Happy Holidays!
We are clearly big fans of eco-friendly dog products, so when Lincoln Bark contacted us to do a product review of their all natural dog treats we were more than happy to oblige! We love seeing new safe and natural products enter the dog industry and hope that someday this is the norm.
Lincoln Bark began when the owner’s two-year-old, Sophie, was diagnosed with Addison’s disease and no treats could be found to boost her food intake. From there the owners began researching in the kitchen. Eventually sweet treats that contained no soy, wheat, corn, and preservatives were created.
Today we want to review two of the treats: Treat Smart – All Natural Salmon Recipe and Sweet Little Buttercup.
Treat Smart dog treats contain Chia Seed superfood. These treats contain more calcium per ounce than milk and more antioxidants than blueberries. These treats will get your pup up and moving! We especially love that when we read the ingredient list we can pronounce everything.
Treat Smart Salmon only contains oats, lecithin, rice bran, rice flour, chicken, salmon, chia seed, flaxseed, and cod liver oil.
Sweet Little Buttercup are delicious dog snacks made with only 100% natural ingredients. Just like Treat Smart, Sweet Little Buttercup is corn, soy, wheat, and preservative free. Sweet Little Buttercup is an excellent selection if your pup has any gluten allergies.
We tested both of the treats on sweet ‘lil Griffey – and he loved them! Griffey has become a picky eater lately, but he was loving the Treat Smart Salmon flavor. We bet your pup will love the treats too!

Hey everyone! Our friends over at Pet365 created this infographic and we thought it was pretty cool. Dogs and humans have been living together for quite some time, and this infographic explains some of their anatomical differences with humans. Enjoy!
Dog Anatomy is a fascinating subject, so was an obvious choice when trying to come up with a topic for the latest Pet365 infographic. Drawing comparisons between our canine counterparts is something that we as (slightly crazy) dog owners do all too often, so being able to see the similarities and differences between us is something that people generally find very interesting. My personal favourite is the taste bud stat, simply because it explains why my dog seems to have an unhealthy penchant for leftover curry! (Before you shout at me, I don’t let him eat it – just a quick lick of the occasional spoon).
So, I hope you enjoyed the facts – If you’d like to get in touch and have a chat about anything dog or web related, feel free to take a look at my personal site, from which you can find my contact details.

Last week for Wordless Wednesday we featured dogs walking dogs, we’re doing the same thing this week: but in a more heartwarming than humorous sense. Submitted by GreenDogLove fan Christina, and Maxwell‘s Mom, this photos truly capture the loving and protective personalities found in dogs.
Lily has been blind for the last five years due to a bizarre eye condition. Since having her eyes removed, Maddison has been Lily’s daily companion for eyes. You can see more photos from 22 Words.
I know, I know, it’s not even Halloween and I’m pulling out a Christmas post. However, this is a super cute one, so I hope you forgive me. If you’re looking for the perfect present for your dog-loving friends and family (or maybe for yourself) these ornaments are a great option. Dog ornaments can be customized by breed and some even can include the pups name. What’s a better way to show how much you love your dog than by proclaiming it on your Christmas tree?
